What we feed
Our adult dogs are fed Diamond Natural dog food. We used to feed the Chicken and Rice formula but some of our dogs didn't have as good of results as the rest so we switched over to the Beef and Rice formula. We LOVE it and more importantly so does the dogs! Our dogs all have shiny, healthy coats and skin. They have minimal poo and are all very healthy. This food has no corn in it. It's a good dog food at a good price in todays economy. Many of our customers like the fact that they can still feed their dog a quality dog food at an affordable price.

Ingredients
Beef meal, cracked pearled barley, ground rice, peas, egg product, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), rice bran, beet pulp, flaxseed, natural flavor, fish meal, potassium chloride, salt, choline chloride, vitamin E supplement, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, thiamine mononitrate, manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, ascorbic acid, vitamin A supplement, biotin, calcium pantothenate, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin, vitamin D supplement, folic acid.
Our puppies and pregnant/nursing mothers are fed a RAW diet. This consists of raw chicken right on the bone. We start them at 4 weeks. Mostly they chew off the skin/meat and leave the bone. By 6 to 7 weeks they are consuming all of it. We do mix things up a bit and throw in pork and beef every so often. RAW is such a good diet for dogs to be on and we love it and so do the dogs. They really enjoy it and that makes us happy. Our puppies have so much fun with the chicken and they think they are getting a treat everytime they eat! The RAW is great for their teeth (we all know dachshunds can get dirth teeth really easy!), their digestive trac, and their coat/skin. Our mothers look amazing on this diet during pregnancy and nursing. They maintain their weight, and keep their nice coat. They never look like they just had puppies! Our puppies have so much fun with the chicken and they think they are getting a treat everytime they eat! Feeding RAW is much easier than people realize and it's really great for the dogs. We have seen the benefits of feeding RAW and we know you will too. When our puppies go into their new homes, if you do not wish to continue the RAW diet we do recommend they be put on Diamond Natural Small Puppy Formula.
