Here at Lexi's Doxies we strive to produce
quality miniature dachshund puppies. We
breed both long and smooth coat. We are
blessed to be able to share our love of
dachshunds with the world!
Our dachshunds are a huge part of our
family and we adore each and every one of
them. Our puppies are raised in our home,
never outdoors. They are well socialized
with kids, other animals, and raised as
part of our household. They are well
rounded, outgoing, loving puppies. We
have puppies with a variety of
temperaments and we try our best to
match up the perfect puppy for each
family!
We focus on creams and dapples. We are now producing hard to find wild boars and sables!!! In the near future we will be producing cream wild boar and sable!
Nutrition
We feed our adults a mixture of Wellness Core, Earthborn Holistic, and Natural Balance Alpha Formula. These foods offer our dogs quality ingredients, no grains, and rich protein sources such as bison, fish, venison etc. Each food has something we like and has something to offer to our dogs and their health. Also it keeps our dogs from getting bored on their food. We beleive that not only pedigree and conformation of our breeding dogs are important, but also their over all health. And that starts with a good, quality dog food.
What does this mean for you and your puppy?
If our adults are healthy and nutrionally balance, so are your puppies. Your puppies first 63 days of life are spent inside their mother and are consuming what their mothers eat. This is very important that the mothers are fed a quality diet so that your puppy gets the best possible start in life from conception up until they are 8 weeks old and ready for pick up.
We feed our pregnant mothers and puppies Vitality from Dogs Well This food contains flaxseed and vitamins to maintain eyes, coat, and skin. They use no preservatives, no artifical flavors. It has quality ingredients and our puppies love it. We highly recommend keeping your puppy on this food and then switching over to one of the above foods when grown. We are exceptionally happy with the food we feed and the results we get from the food. Our dogs are bright eyed, have beautiful shiny coats, and maintain a good energy level.
