About Us
My name is Katie. I'm 25 years old. I have been married for almost 6 years and have four beautiful little girls. I am expecting another baby in January. I am a stay at home mother, and my husband is an over the road truck driver. I have loved and owned dachshunds for 20 years. My first dachshund was a red smooth hair. When I aquired my black/tan dapple boy and my wildboar girl I thought I had just about the most unique dachshunds in town. Boy was I surprised when I learned just how many different colors and patterns there were. Then I found wires! Over the years my love for this amazing breed just grew and grew. Dachshunds have the most unique personality of any breed I've ever known. Even the three coat types have their own distinct personality traits. We love them all! From the energetic smooth hairs, the quiet, laid back longhairs, to the quirky wirehairs. Dachshunds may be small but boy do they think they are great, big guard dogs! My dachshunds are fierce, loyal, loving, and whimsical. There isn't a boring day around this house. My love of dachshunds extened to my mother and my step father. Both of them love and breed dachshunds as well. My mom and I do this together. My step dad has just a few dogs of his own. We enjoy doing this together and will continue to do so for many years to come! Our breeding program will be changing over the next few months. We will be concentrating on raising quality english creams and cream carriers. We have such an amazing group of dachshunds and we have worked hard to aquire them!
